About

BVB captured my attention during the Jurgen Klopp era and I still have rather vivid and lasting memories of the CL final in 2013. I wasn’t a huge BVB fan back then but the underdog story, the kind of football this team played under Klopp’s leadership and the potential of beating the eternal rival in the CL final was stuff of legends, well potentially. It didn’t materialize but I still remember how much I rooted for BVB to win. Remember I said I wasn’t a huge BVB fan back then? Well it changed that very night.

I’m super enthusiastic about sustainable trends in technology and I like change. I also respect and value tradition and I believe we need to remind ourselves of, and protect, the values that make a positive difference in our lives – and in the last few years that is what brought me even closer to BVB and German football. In context of monetization of the game worldwide, the sporting environment and culture in Germany just hits different. It didn’t sell out. To me this is important, even though I’m not from Germany myself.

And because I like reflecting, analyzing and writing, that’s what I’ll do here. I’m also a big fan of utilizing team sports dynamics and concepts in business environment, so there will be some of that in here as well. And it will be captured and published for you to read. Hope you like it.

See you in the Yellow Wall!
